Fifth Annual General Meeting of Nepal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (NICS) was organized on 4 October 2013 at Survey Department (SD) Geodetic Hall. Members of NICS and other dignitaries, including Nagendra Jha- Director General of Survey Department, Rabin Kaji Sharma- Former Director General of Survey Department and President of Nepal Remote Sensing and Photogrammetric Society (NRSPS), Saroj Chalise- General Secretary of Nepal Surveyors Association (NSA), Kalyan Gopal Shrestha- Executive Director of Land Management Training Center (LMTC), Hridaya Narayan Mishra- Deputy Director General of SD and other Survey Department Officers were present at the function. Chartered Surveyors First Annual General Meeting

 Government survey license holders organization, Nepal Institution of Chartered Surveyor’s (NICS) annual general meeting was held on 1st October 2008. Buddhi Narayan Shrestha has been elected as the President of the Institution for the next two years term, by the general body. Besides, Punya Prasad Oli, Mahendra Prasad Sigdel, Rajendra Prasad Maratha, Shambhu Gyawali, Dr. Padma Raj Lamichhane and Nagendra Jha have been elected as Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Secretary, and Executive Committee Members respectively.
